Ultimate Holiday Recovery Green Smoothie

The holidays are all about spending quality time with friends and family. Sharing laughs, playing board games and of course- overeating low nutrient-foods. The week between Christmas eve and New Years eve is just a blur of chocolate, turkey and spiked eggnog. While overeating during the holidays isn’t the end of the world, it can certainly take a toll on our gut and energy levels leaving us feeling like *insert poop emoji here.

This green smoothie is the ultimate smoothie to help you recovery from overdoing it with the chips and chocolate the past week. It’s packed with protein and the most nutrient-dense foods out there! 

Ultimate Holiday Recovery Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Handful of spinach
  • 1/2 Pear
  • 1 scoop Plant-based pea protein powder
  • 1 Tbsp of Chia seeds
  • Handful of kale
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 Green apple
  • 1/4 cup of water

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until mixed well. For an extra refreshing drink, add 6 ice cubes to blender.
